With only 10 days into the New Year, I can’t help but feel like I need to DO MORE.
This last week has been nothing but amazing. I got back in the fitness industry. (I went through a 4 month non-compete period when I resigned from my old company last August so I wasn’t allowed to do anything in the fitness/supplement world until Jan 1, 2015). But the wait was SOOOO worth it!!! I am so happy with my supplement company Nutrex Research, Inc. Read more about it here.
I am doing what I LOVE.
I love teaching/educating. Believe it or not, I use to be a 3rd grade teacher lol ^_^. So what is it that I do with Nutrex? I manage half the West Coast (California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington). I educate business owners, consumers and make sure supplement stores, gyms, etc. are stocked with Nutrex products. I also make sure supplement users understand what they are putting into their bodies. Everyone is different and just like food, one ingredient may work for you but may not work for the other. In order to determine that, I like to find out what your goals are first and from there I will find the right supplements for YOU. But of course, before I even recommend supplements, whole foods is the way to go. You cannot lose weight by taking supplements. You lose weight by proper exercise and nutrition. To be honest, so many people are lazy nowadays and they don’t take the time to read anymore or research. When I first started my fitness journey back in 2010, I had no clue what I was doing. But how did I learn?
I think a lot of people forget that this tool is the most amazing thing ever! It is free education. With social media growing tremendously these days, you never know what actually is the truth. Find out what you physically like to do. I love aerial fitness, running, spinning, and throwing heavy weights around in the gym ;). You don’t have to be inside a gym to accomplish your goals. Hiking is amazing too! If you have a hard time looking for new activities use Yelp. I think I use yelp as much as I use google lol.

A couple days ago, I watched Jared Leto’s documentary called Artifact on Netflix.
It was one of the most touching, inspiring, motivating documentaries I have watched all year and was exactly what I needed.
Some days I feel like I am going absolutely nowhere in life. I set super high goals for myself and when I don’t accomplish them, I feel hopeless.
I am a dreamer and a perfectionist. But sometimes I have to remind myself how will waiting for the perfect moment move me forward in life?
As human beings, we often have perfectionist tendencies and wait to do things until circumstances are just right or this, that, or the other happens first. Then we will be ready. Then it will be perfect timing. Then we will have enough money saved, have a better plan, or whatever it is that will be better then than it is now. THEN. What is then? Why do we postpone living until this elusive “then” when we could be living right NOW? Time is precious and we don’t have a lot of it to waste not doing the things we really want to be doing or living the way we want to be living, so why do we?
For me, I fear failure and I fear judgement. But you know what, Annie is right…
Stop Waiting, Start Living.
So today, I will make a change. I will make a change to stop thinking everything has to be perfect and Just Do It.

I finally did it!!! I started my blog!!! I’ve been wanting to start this blog for quite sometime now but just didn’t know where to start. This blog/website stuff is no joke. If you guys are new to this like I am, well the first step is to purchase a domain name. Hosting comes next and then the fun stuff… choosing a theme (dressing your site). The theme I have now is temporary until THE ONE comes to me. But just a quick intro, health and fitness is my absolute PASSION.
